NVS 5 Featured Speakers/Volunteer Programs:
• Jennifer Wallum, founder, Entrepreneur Volunteer Assistance Charity Foundation, which helps Aeta communities displaced by the Mt. Pinatubo eruption through a range of livelihood rehabilitation and educational programs such as the volunteer-driven "traditional origins ethnic education schools" the group has put up and continues to help sustain.
• Evangelina San Jose-Giorgetti, co-founder, TaoPo.org, a changeneer group that has put up an online portal that empowers people as well as motivate different government offices to improve their services, reminding the Filipinos that efficient government service is their right. TaoPo.org’s presentation will explore issues from across the service sector; focus on new ways to connect with and engage individuals in a meaningful ways in person and online.
• Ruel Barrios, head, Naga City’s Lingkod Barangay Office with its pioneering Bolunterismo Mismo component
• Diane Figueroa, program officer, BPI Bayan, a unique, employee-driven volunteer program of BPI that runs a whole range of programs such as Balik-Eskwela (Alternative Learning System) in some communities in Visayas and Mindanao; Dama (Feel), Damay (Involve), Damayan (Support) Volunteer Project in Cebu; rehabilitation of Silliman Beach in Dumaguete; among others.

Transportation:
